Manual And Automatic Residential And Commercial Towel Dispenser Options In A Modern Restroom

Whether you are thinking of the home restroom or one in a busy commercial building of some sort there is the same need for towels. In the commercial setting some sort of paper towel dispenser is the most common option; at home the preference may be for cotton towels, although some people will still supply paper towels in the guest restroom. In those circumstances the type of dispensers are similar in both settings but for obvious reasons the scale of commercial dispensers is likely to be much higher.

There are a number of choices to make when choosing a paper towel dispenser, assuming that is that you do not need wet or hot towels in the first place. The majority opts for dry paper towels both at home and in businesses premises, and fortunately the choice of designs, types and models is very wide, catering for all levels of use.

One of the most important decisions to make is whether to use a roll or fold towel dispenser. Both of these types of dispensers have some advantages, and much will depend on the volumes and need for restocking. Commercial organizations will no doubt have the largest volume need for paper towels, which can also mean the potential for waste is that much higher; higher waste means lower profits (or household bills at home.) Folded towels are likely to have the highest wastage rates especially with those dispensers that seem to encourage people to take too many towels, often by accident. This type of dispenser is also prone to the towels becoming wet as people approach them with wet hands; already wet means already wasted.

To counter the problems of the folded towel wastage you can choose the roll towel dispenser; this has a better reputation for the user only taking the number of towels needed for drying their hands and maybe face. Another possibility is to go for an automatic dispenser for your paper towel supplies, and there are plenty of these available on the market for home use and for commercial use.
